The show will be opened by the choir of the Mid Devon Singers, setting the tone for a lively and engaging programme. One of the evening’s highlights will be the Exe Valley Gymnasts, whose agility and athleticism are described as “truly staggering”. The Willow Tree Dancers will also perform, bringing their “remarkable” talent and versatility to the stage. Other acts include the Tiverton Signpost Club, who are expected to deliver colourful and energetic routines choreographed by Georgia Harcombe, and the Tiverton Dramatic Society, who are likely to offer a sneak preview of their upcoming comedy play, also due to be staged at the New Hall. Adding to the variety, a number of musicians will perform with a range of instruments, while vocalists of all ages are set to provide a diverse selection of songs aimed at stirring emotion and lifting spirits. Behind the scenes, members of the Withleigh Young Farmers Club will be helping to keep the audience refreshed, offering tea and cake during the interval. The curtain rises at 7.30pm on Saturday, May 3. Tickets are priced at £13 for adults and £8 for children and are available online via TicketSource by searching for “Rose Chanin Variety Show”.
