Jet2 flight LS881 from Alicante was part-way through its journey on Friday (April 25) when the decision was taken to divert it to Barcelona. A Jet2 spokesperson said: "“Flight LS881 diverted to Barcelona so that police could offload some disruptive passengers. ‌ "The aircraft continued to its destination after a delay. Article continues below "As a family friendly airline, we take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive behaviour.” The flight arrived back at Manchester Airport at 23:47am, almost three hours later than scheduled.
