A meeting between US President Donald Trump and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has been branded Pope Francis’s ‘final miracle.’ The two leaders met in the Vatican ahead of the late Pontiff’s funeral in what Zelensky said was a potentially ‘historic’ meeting. He said: ‘We discussed a lot one on one. Hoping for results on everything we covered. Protecting lives of our people. ‘Full and conditional ceasefire. Reliable and lasting peace that will prevent another war from breaking out. Very symbolic meeting that has potential to become historic, if we achieve joint results.’ Sky News’ Professor Father Francesco Giordano said the major meeting was being called ‘Pope Francis’s miracle’ adding that the progress made on Saturday was ‘overwhelming.’ Trump later hit out at Russian President Vladimir Putin, revealing his thoughts that ‘maybe he doesn’t want to stop the war, he’s just tapping me along.’ Speaking on his social media platform Truth Social on Saturday, the 78-year-old said: ‘There was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas, cities and towns, over the last few days.
