Dublin v Meath LIVE updates from Leinster Football Championship semi-final clash as old foes renew famous rivalry

Dublin are gunning for a 15th straight Leinster Senior Football Championship success and have great rivals Meath in their way on Sunday afternoon in the provincial semi-final. The Royals were the last team to beat Dublin in Leinster, way back in 2010 when they went goal crazy at Croke Park and secured a 5-9 to 0-13 win. Since then, Dublin went on to build the greatest team the GAA has ever seen and secure six All-Irelands in a row. However, Dessie Farrell's men are not the force of old and Robbie Brennan and Meath will have had their eyes on this game from a long way out. Dublin were four up at half-time with the breeze to come against Wicklow in the Leinster quarter-final, but struggled to put their opponents away at Aughrim. They lost a lot of the breaking ball battles. They were also poor against Tyrone in their final Allianz League game. There might be a backlash here. Meath produced a big second half to see off Offaly. They could do with Ronan Jones, while Jordan Morris’ loss will be felt in attack. You’d expect a big Meath display here but they will need everyhting to go their way to have a shot at dethroning the Dubs. The bookies reckon Dublin are still hot favourites at 1/10 with Meath 7/1 outsiders. A draw is priced at 12/1.
